Jenna Kay - 'Smartsass'

Jenna Kay has dropped her sophomore EP, Smartsass, her first project in nearly a year, and a statement of her growing presence in Nashville’s music scene as an authentic indie-pop firecracker.

Punchy through and through with sharp hooks and a charmingly unapologetic bite, the six tracks capture Jenna at a confident and direct place in her sonic evolution. Messy breakups and bitter truths, Nashville has a new star on the rise, with Jenna recently signing to Label 22 as their first and only pop artist.

In her words, “Smartsass is my attitude in album form, it’s me owning my voice, saying the things I used to keep quiet. It’s confident, sarcastic, emotional, and unapologetically honest. These songs are about growing up, standing your ground, and realising you don’t have to shrink yourself to be liked.”

Originally from St. Louis, Jenna has been a performer since childhood. Now chasing music full-time and finding success. With tour aspirations, more music and a strong ‘Bows & Boots’ fan community, she’s set on a breakout 2026.
