Following on from the release of her much-loved EP 'Roses Aren't Always Red' last year, Cambridge-based singer-songwriter Jenem has now returned for 2023 to deliver her shimmering new single 'Roots'.
Capturing more of that warm and invigorating alt-pop aesthetic she has built for herself since she first began, 'Roots' makes for a wondrous return for the artist at the helm. With its broad and immersive textures perfectly elevating her heartfelt vocal performance throughout, she is certainly looking to pull on our heartstrings with this emotive new release.
While she has certainly cemented herself on the scene with a flurry of enigmatic delights of late, 'Roots' shows that she still has plenty of fresh and inventive ideas in which to explore.
