Following on from the release of her breakthrough debut single 'Pearly Queen' last year, emerging artist Jade Moss recently returned with her eagerly-anticipated follow-up 'Hey Babe'.
Influenced by the sounds of Etta James, Grace Jones, and Lauryn Hill but with an almost trip-hop-inspired direction, 'Hey Babe' sees her return with a truly anthemic and blistering alt-pop belter.
So with the new single out now, we sat her down to find out more behind the music.

Violin

Did you ever form a band when you were younger and if so, what did they sound like?
Yes it’s was awful haha
What is a song you wish you had written yourself?
Portishead - Glory box
What has been the most thrilling moment about creating your own music?
For me the writing has been a really beautiful part of this journey so far, releasing all my feelings onto paper has been like a therapy.
And what about the most frustrating part?
I so impatient so waiting for production haha
Which artist would you most love to share a stage with?
Kate Bush
Where do you see yourself in five years time?
I think I will be a successful artist with a couple of number ones under my belt.
