Los Angeles-based artist Eddie Cohn returns with his latest single 'Weight of the World', offering a stripped-back, introspective track that tackles the pressures of modern life.
Blending acoustic and electric elements, the song leans into a raw, minimal production style, allowing its themes to take centre stage. Built around guitar, bass, drums and layered vocals, the track explores the emotional toll of constant connectivity, questioning how the endless stream of information shapes our ability to think, feel and disconnect.
Cohn collaborated with a group of seasoned musicians on the release, including Jake Reed, Sean Hurley, Brett Farkas, Phil Peterson and Kevin Penner, bringing together contributions recorded across multiple locations.
Drawing inspiration from artists such as Soundgarden, Nirvana, Tom Petty and Beck, 'Weight of the World' balances grunge-era influence with a more reflective, contemporary edge.
