After the release of his much-loved sophomore LP 'Pastlife' last year, Day Wave has now returned to share his brand new single 'As You Are'.
The new track marks his first piece of solo material this year, and continues more of that warm and woozy indie-pop aesthetic he is known for.
Speaking about the new offering, he said, “It’s about a relationship unravelling, and the moment you realize that neither person is willing to change to make it work. The song took a while to fully come to fruition. I had been playing the chord progression over and over again for months before I actually wrote the song over it.”
