Following our the success of their highly-praised self-titled debut LP in 2018, Big Red Machine, the collaborative project between Bon Iver's Justin Vernon and The National's Aaron Dessner, are back once again to announce their plans for the new studio album 'How Long Do You Think It's Gonna Last?', arriving on the 27th August via 37d03d.
The new full-length will feature guest performances from the likes of Taylor Swift, Ben Howard, Fleet Foxes’ Robin Pecknold, Sharon Van Etten, This Is The Kit, and Naeem, and is being previewed by the new Anaïs Mitchell collaboration 'Latter Days'.
Speaking about the new single, Dessner said, "It was clear to Anaïs that the early sketch Justin and I made of 'Latter Days' was about childhood, or loss of innocence and nostalgia for a time before you’ve grown into adulthood - before you’ve hurt people or lost people and made mistakes. She defined the whole record when she sang that, as these same themes kept appearing again and again."
