Arlo Parks continues to redefine the contours of her artistry with the release of 'Heaven', the latest single from her highly anticipated third album 'Ambiguous Desire', out 3rd April via Transgressive Records. Known for her poetic, introspective lyricism, Parks now ventures boldly into rave-inspired terrain, drawing on her love for underground electronic music and late-night dancefloor transcendence.
Inspired by a sunrise DJ set from close friend Kelly Lee Owens under a Los Angeles bridge, 'Heaven' pulses with a hypnotic techno bassline and a sense of collective release. Parks describes the track as “about euphoria, community and staying present”, a love letter to the unspoken intimacy of crowded dance spaces.
It marks a bold stylistic shift, merging her lyrical vulnerability with a heavier, club-oriented production. The release follows the success of '2SIDED', which premiered as BBC Radio 1’s Hottest Record.
